My name is Vedanth Sriram.

It’s pronounced vey-daan-th.

I am a BS-MS graduate from IISER Kolk(Haringh)ata.

If I’m not asleep in my room, I’ll probably be holed up in the corner of the library or the CC.

Anyhoo, this blog is a collection of articles and answers about life at IISER. It’s a collection of my writings about my experience over the past year (2017-18) at IISER Kolkata. I had them all stored on my laptop, but I was too lazy to ever make a blog, but here it is now. This should help an incoming fresher or the parents of an incoming fresher.

2022: Fair warning

Things (not a lot) have changed since I wrote this blog in 2018, and I have not taken the time to edit much beyond the homepage. However, I will say that the love (or perhaps love-hate relationship) I shared with IISER-K – what drove me to write the blog in the first place, still carries to this day. My experience learning from the people I met over my 5 years at IISER-K was truly memorable. To any fresher reading this, I wish your experience mirrors mine (or is better!).
